The ownership journey
CHANLO Care
Guidance from the day a piece arrives through everyday wear, maintenance, repair and long-term support.
01
Receiving your jewellery
Inspect the piece and accompanying documents after delivery. If anything appears incorrect, damaged or missing, keep the packaging and contact Client Care promptly before wearing the jewellery.
02
Everyday wear
Fine jewellery is durable but not immune to impact or abrasion. Remove it before exercise, manual work, bathing or swimming, and avoid contact with household chemicals, perfume and cosmetics.
03
Cleaning
For light care, use a clean, soft cloth. Contact CHANLO before using chemical cleaners, steam or ultrasonic equipment because the appropriate method depends on the piece and stone setting.
04
Storage
Store each piece separately in its CHANLO presentation box, away from moisture and direct heat. Separate storage reduces contact that can mark polished metal or stone surfaces.
05
Periodic inspection
Check settings, clasps and chain connections regularly. If a stone appears loose, a clasp feels different or the piece receives an impact, stop wearing it and request an assessment.
06
Repairs
Contact CHANLO before any repair or alteration is undertaken. We will assess the piece and explain the available work, estimated timing and cost before proceeding.
07
Ring resizing
Ring resizing may be available after purchase depending on the design and the adjustment required. As every CHANLO piece is individually made to order, resizing is assessed on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to a service charge. Please contact Client Care and we will be happy to discuss the available options.
08
Manufacturing defects
If you believe a piece has a manufacturing defect, contact CHANLO before work is undertaken elsewhere. Each case is assessed individually. Accidental damage, misuse, unauthorised alteration and normal wear are not manufacturing defects; your statutory rights remain unaffected.
09
Requesting support
Provide the order number, a clear description and photographs where helpful. CHANLO will review the information personally and explain whether the piece should be returned for assessment.
